This heat shield is designed to add a layer of protection, but it's not a guaranteed solution. It's strongly recommend maintaining a minimum 50mm gap between your exhaust tip and the lip/bumper. Without that clearance, no heat shield will fully prevent heat damage. Make sure your exhaust is properly positioned before installing! If you need additional clearance, we recommend buying adjustable 4-hole Universal exhaust hangers anywhere online including Amazon.
Our Carbon Fiber heat shields are cast directly from the OEM part and fitment is verified before it ever ships to you. Mounting is simple: use our provided fasteners and 3M double sided tape (optional).
This is a direct fit to the 05-06 RSX/DC5 A-Spec Lip. Fitment on replica or non-OEM lips/bumpers is not guaranteed.
Please note: Discoloration of the CF clear coat and wear over time are expected and normal for a part in this location. By purchasing, you knowledge this is a wear and tear item.
